Reflections of Christ

Happy Sunday! Below are a few photos of my home I snapped after hanging my new favorite addition to the house! Displaying a picture of Christ in our home has been something I've wanted to do since we moved in over a year ago.  I finally found the perfect print and love seeing this right as we walk in the door.

The Reflections of Christ photos by Mark Mabry found here are some of the most beautiful depictions of Christ I've ever seen.  I love the Walking on Water

photo because it shows one of the many miracles performed by Christ.  It serves as a daily reminder of the miracles we've seen in our lives, specifically with Cal, and helps me to remember to honor Him in everything we do.

Who can spy cute baby feet in the picture above? :)

A Little Bit of THANKS

We can't believe it's already almost Thanksgiving! Today we wanted to share a couple of our favorite holiday recipes, as well as a cute, DIY decor idea.

There are so many cute cards and paper products out there...and who doesn't love collecting cute stationary?! Well, this gives you an excuse to collect it for EVERY holiday ;) Framing cute cards you love, is a fun and easy decorating idea. This idea actually came from our grandmother, who saves and frames her favorite Christmas cards.

Throughout the year, collect cute cards or sayings, and then put them in frames around the house to decorate! Or, save your favorite cards you receive, because sometimes they are just too pretty to throw away ;) You can use this idea for any holiday.

Rifle Paper Co has the most DARLING Thanksgiving and Christmas stationary right now.

We found our cards at World Market and Paper Source (love Paper Source!).

Now...on to the recipes! These are both family favorites this time of year...Classic Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread, and Soft Ginger Cookies. SO yummy, and great for delivering to friends & family around the holiday season.
