The Lauren wallet from Hobo (which we raved about here) would also make a great stocking stuffer! We'll include our favorite colors of the Lauren this season in our stocking stuffer guide post…coming soon! (Stay tuned). Some of our outfit details are linked below.

P.S. Be sure to follow us on our Instagram account! We are giving away each of the bags featured in this post to THREE lucky winners!

Holiday Wish List/Gift Guide

Happy Holidays, friends! It's Regan here sharing what's on mine and my hubby's holiday wish lists!  Hopefully you can use some of these ideas for either yourself, or when shopping for your family & friends.

For Her
{Scroll through the widget below and click on images for links to each item}

1. Windowpane Coat - Loving this pattern trend I've been seeing everywhere. This coat is everything.
2. Reversible Tote - I love the black/brown colors together, this will go with everything! Perfect gift for your girl friend/sister/mother.
3. Black Dressy Boot - Great winter booties that are on my wish list this year ;)
4. Kate Spade Watch - I love that this watch is both gold & silver. Again, will go with everything!
5. Perfume - I became addicted to this scent after getting it as a sample at Sephora. I normally don't buy perfume for myself, but it's on my wish list for this year!
6. Earrings - Prettiest earrings that are the perfect gift or stocking stuffer!
7. Beanie - Beanie's are a staple for me in the winter time living in Utah - love this neutral one!
8. Mittens - Another perfect stocking stuffer. These are so cute!
9. Festive Plates - I am honestly so in love with these beautiful plates!
10. White Plates - After four years using them, I am so sick of the dinnerware we registered for when we got married. I so wish I would have such registered for white! So now I'm itching to switch them out. I love these and put them on my holiday wish list this year.

For Him
{Scroll through the widget below and click on images for links to each item}

1. Fitbit - These have gotten so popular and I was so excited when my husband said he wanted one! My grandma actually has this on her wishlist this year too, so it would be a great gift for anyone!
2. Northface Jacket - For the 'outdoorsy' men in your life like my husband!
3. Northface Vest - My husband has been really in to vests lately (which is weird because he usually isn't ever in to anything to do with clothing, lol). You can never go wrong with one of these and there are so many colors to choose from!
4. Nike Half-Zip Top - My husband would be happy if his entire wardrobe consisted of only Nike clothes. He especially loves these half-zip tops.
5. Nike Sweatpants - My husband would live in these and only these if he could.
6. Tie  - Express always has a great selection on ties! And a lot of times they're buy one, get one free! I ordered two for my hubby during their Black Friday sale!
7. Dress Socks - Express also has some of the coolest dress socks. These are great to pair with the ties!
8. Bluetooth Speaker - We have one of these, and use it all the time! They are so great and the battery lasts forever.
9. Power Tools - We are building a house right now, and have lots of projects planned once we move in. This year my husband has some new power tools on his wishlist!

I hope you find these lists useful as you're looking for gifts, or giving others ideas for yourself! Happy Shopping!

Apple Crisp

It's been a while since we've shared a new recipe on here!  This one's another family favorite and is SO easy! Every single time we make it we get asked for the recipe, and it's almost embarrassing how simple it is.  And it's perfect for Thanksgiving if you're looking for a dessert for the non pie lovers (they do exist, believe it or not!).

All you need are a few ingredients that you should already have on hand (except for maybe the apples). Get the full, printable recipe linked at the bottom of this post!

Start by buttering the sides and bottom of a 9x13 pan, then slice your apples into the pan. To make your life even easier, peel and slice your apples with one of these babies. Trust us, you'll want to invest in an apple peeler if you don't already have one ;) Occasionally squeeze lemon juice over the apples to add tartness and prevent browning.  We like lots of lemon juice!

Next, sprinkle the spices over your apples.  The spices are measured out in the recipe, but really you can just sprinkle as much on as you'd like. You really can't mess this recipe up!

Then mix your sugary, buttery, crumble mixture up for the topping.  We like to just use our hands to incorporate the butter. (Promise we wash them first! ;)

Sprinkle the mixture over the apples, then throw in the oven (350) for about an hour!

Serve warm with ice cream....and try not to eat the entire pan. {P.S. leftover apple crisp for breakfast the next morning is totally acceptable}

Plaid

Hi! Regan here :) Happy November! Halloween was great and all, but bring on Thanksgiving & Christmas season! I do love my fall decorations though - and I'm definitely a "it's not Christmas until the turkey's been eaten" kind of a girl, so you won't see Christmas decor in my house until November 27th ;-) However, that's not to say I'm too stubborn to listen to the occasional Christmas song. You better believe I had Justin Bieber Christmas station blasting on our 9 hour drive home from CA last weekend ;-)

I'm also so excited it's November because my husband and I break ground on our very first home this month!! I will be sure to post a few updates of the building process along the way. We are so excited! But for now....here's a little fall fashion inspo for you featuring my new favorite plaid blouse <3 All outfit details are directly linked at the bottom of this post.

Fall Scents

I think we can all agree that having a seasonal candle lit just completes the cozy feel of fall in the home.  Now that the weather is cooling down, and we finally have our fall/halloween decorations out, there's almost nothing that makes us happier than coming home and lighting our favorite candle scent.

Our cute friend Dayna from The Gilded Wick sells some of the most delicious smelling candles on her Etsy shop. She recently sent us three of her amazing candles, and we all agreed that our favorite scent was her Vanilla Pumpkin (the three of us were honestly fighting over who got to keep that one - it smelled so good we wanted to eat it! haha). Scroll to the bottom of this post for a coupon code for 10% off!

The Gilded Wick has a line that uses only pure essential oils which is great for aromatherapy and the coconut soy wax, when melted, can be rubbed into your hands for an amazing moisturizer! To give you a little bit more info, here's what makes these candles so amazing:

- They are HAND poured with love in Southern California
- Scented with high quality Phthalate-free fragrance oils and the REFINED line is scented with high quality 100% essential oils.
- Eco-friendly, organic coconut soy wax.
- All natural, wooden wicks made with American wood.
- All product and packaging is grown and made in the U.S.A. and the essential oils are sourced from around the world.

Here are some yummy fall flavors from her pure essential oils line:
Sweet Orange
& Cinnamon
Sweet, citrusy, and spicy

Her other 4 holiday scents are not made with essential oils but include Frankincense and Myrrh:
Laurel Cranberry
Vanilla Pumpkin (our fav!)
Frasier Fir.

WHAT IS COCONUT SOY WAX?
Coconut Soy wax is a blend of all natural organic coconut wax, soy wax, and other natural vegetable waxes. This wax burns cooler than other natural waxes, lending to longer burn times and a greater scent throw.

IS THE WAX WASHABLE?
Coconut soy wax is extremely easy to clean up using hot, soapy water if there is ever a spill. When you are finished using your candle you can reuse the glass for cocktails or whatever you may like! The wick should easily pop off of the bottom of the glass and the wax can be washed right down the sink!

These candles would make such cute Christmas gifts, or use the smaller candles in tin containers for stocking stuffers (yes, we are already thinking ahead to Christmas ;))

Head on over to The Gilded Wick on Etsy and enter code SALTYBLONDES10 at checkout for 10% off through December 31st!

Morning Power Smoothie

Hey guys! Paige here…just wanted to give you all a little "bump-date" and share a new favorite recipe!

SO by week 24 of my pregnancy I had already gained 33 pounds and was really starting to stress out (average weight gain for most pregnancies is 25-35 pounds, and I still had over 3 months to go)! I was constantly hungry and my eating was pretty out of control, so I decided to turn to my own personal fitness guru/sister Sidney! I wanted help getting on a nutrition plan that would help get my weight under control, but also make sure I was getting all of the nutrients I need during pregnancy. She helped me come up with one and did not disappoint!

Last week was my first week on the plan, and I actually LOST 3 pounds. Woohoo! I'm constantly eating HEALTHY foods so I never feel hungry, and I have much more energy throughout the day.

My favorite thing on the plan is my morning smoothie! It's SO good and I crave it as soon as I wake up :) I'll be sharing more of my new eating plan soon, but today I want to share the recipe for this amazing smoothie that's so healthy and yummy!

What MAKES this smoothie is this amazing protein powder. It's SO good and only has 50 calories, AND 100 milligrams of caffeine :) It'll definitely wake ya up in the morning, and I love it! Click on the linked picture below to purchase.

The recipe also calls for flax and chia seeds (both optional). Below is the brand I use :)

When making this smoothie, I use a large handful of frozen spinach and kale. I buy the brand below at the grocery store, and just stick it in the freezer!

Below is the recipe. It makes enough for two and I make it for my husband and myself every morning. If you're making for one, cut everything in half!

Morning Power Smoothie:

1 Banana
1 handful frozen spinach
1 handful frozen kale
1 Spoonful Flax Seeds
1 Spoonful Chia Seeds
1 Spoonful Almond Butter
2 Cups Frozen Blueberries
2 Cups Almond Milk (I use unsweetened vanilla)

Fall Tunics

Hi! Regan here :) This past weekend was spent up in the gorgeous mountains of Park City, Utah watching LDS Conference (one of my favorite weekends of the year!).  It was so pretty up there with all the fall colors!  Paige, Sidney, and I spent Saturday and Sunday up there with our hubby's (and Sidney's boyfriend).  On Sunday morning we made a yummy breakfast, and just lounged in our PJ's while watching #LDSConf.

When I tried this tunic on at Anthropologie, I knew it would be a staple for this fall! It's really comfortable and the material is so soft! I've already worn it like five times, haha. Oh, and these Karen Walker sunglasses! We've been getting all of our designer sunglasses lately through Ditto!  Instead of dropping $100-$200 on one pair of sunnies (or prescription eyewear!), rent your favorite pair, then switch them out for new ones anytime you want!  Sign up today using code 'SALTYBLONDES' and try it out for one month FREE!  They are always updating their website with the latest brands and styles and we just can't get enough!

Sidney's At Home 10 Minute Ab Workout

First off, new workout clothes calls for a new workout post! How cute are these new sports bras we each just got from Public Myth!? Regan's pants are from there as well! They have awesome stuff for great deals. Check out their website!

Sports bras, Pants

Below is Sidney's killer at home 10 minute ab workout. In her words "this workout will probably be way too hard for normal people" (she's obviously super humble ;) so you can also cut everything in half and do it in 5 minutes if you want! Don't feel bad if you do either. Sometimes we swear Sidney is not human!

Maternity Dresses

Hello again! Below are a few more of my favorite, most flattering maternity dresses (as promised)! They actually aren't technically maternity dresses, and are cute whether you're pregnant or not! Unfortunately I can't find the bottom one online, but I got it at Soel boutique in Orem. They ship for a flat rate of $5, and the brand of the dress is Life Love is Free and Everlasting. Their phone number is 801-426-9644!

Also, ASOS is a great, affordable place to shop for maternity clothes! At the bottom of this post I've included 3 dresses I recently ordered from them and love. The first one is on sale for only $17! Click through the photos at the bottom for direct links & details :)

Cozy Fall Sweaters

We can't wait for fall, and are sharing a couple of our favorite cozy sweaters a little early this year because they BOTH just went on sale for under $50!! Also, Sid is stepping in for Paige on this fashion post since she's prego, and doesn't she look just fabulous?! (Fashion and modeling is not her thing, and we seriously had to bribe her to take these photos. Seriously…Regan bought her lunch yesterday and Paige did today haha). She does have some sweet fitness posts coming up soon though, and she's all about those, so stay tuned!!

Mid Pregnancy Update

Paige here - I'm officially half way done with my pregnancy, and wanted to post an update about how things are going so far, what baby gear I have/want, and one of my favorite mid pregnancy outfits!

What I'm loving:

Although pregnancy comes with a whole slew of complaints, let's start with the good :) My favorite thing about being pregnant has been picking out baby gear, and starting to design our nursery! I have a long "wish list" of things I like/want, but there are a few things I'm absolutely in love with and couldn't resist buying pretty early on. So far I have my crib, diaper bag, and the cutest nursing pillow I can't wait to use! :)

The crib - OK, for the nursery colors I'm going with greys, blues, and white. I absolutely LOVE the cribs at Restoration Hardware, and honestly for a while I wish I had never even seen them because they are so freaking expensive and cuter than anything else out there! If money isn't an issue for you, click on the link above and go get yourself one of those beauties. Just know I will hate you. Anyways, now that I've let those cribs go and remembered I'm not millionaire, Target here I come! I did end up finding a really cute crib I love there, and it looks so cute in my nursery! Not to mention it was a quarter of the price of the RH cribs. Click on the linked pic below to check it out :)
Diaper Bag - When choosing a diaper bag, there were a few things I knew I wanted. It had to be at least somewhat gender neutral in case my husband ever needs to use it. I also wanted a convertible bag that can be both a cross body and a backpack for the same reason (cross body for me, backpack for him). Lastly, of course I wanted it to be cute! This is what I ended up going with, and I couldn't be more happy :) I'm going to be the weird lady carrying around a diaper bag with no kids because I can't wait to use it!

Nursing Pillow - No story with this, just thought it was adorable and matched my nursery colors :)

What I'm hating:

Now for the bad stuff. I had such high hopes for myself when I got pregnant. I saw so many cute bloggers with tiny little legs and cute pregnant bellies and thick luscious hair from pregnancy hormones, and was so excited to look cute like that too :) Well, that was a nice thought for the first couple weeks. First off, idk what the deal is, but my hair is falling OUT in chunks! Everyday. It sucks. I asked the doctor about it, and he said that although most women's hair gets thicker during pregnancy, everyone reacts different to the hormones and some women's hair gets thinner. Well mine is getting way thinner. Hopefully I have some left by the time I give birth! And thank Heaven for extensions :)

I also have gained a lot of weight. About 20 pounds and I'm only half way done! Most of it has gone to my butt and legs, so my dreams of tiny little skinny jeans with cute flowing maternity tops are over. I would actually rather hide my legs than my belly! My body is weird. Anyways, if any of you pregnant mommas out there are like me, and gaining weight all over instead of just the belly, I'll be sharing some of my favorite flattering outfits throughout this process. For now, here's one of my go-tos. All items are linked at the bottom of this post :)

Summer Travels

We meant to post this sooner, but better late than never, right? ;) Those of you who follow us on Instagram may have seen that we recently traveled to New York and St. Thomas with our family! It was such a fun trip, and we thought we'd share some of our favorite pictures as well as where we stayed, favorite restaurants, and some of our favorite things we did/saw!

NEW YORK
The first part of our trip was spent in New York. Most flights from San Diego (where part of our family was coming from) and Salt Lake City don't fly directly to St. Thomas, so we decided it would be fun to spend a few days in NY, since we had to make a stop on that side of the country anyways.  We spent three days there, which we thought was the perfect amount of time. And we definitely made the most out of the time we had. We visited all of the famous and monumental sites, experienced the underground subway system (probably more times than we would have liked - it's so hot and muggy down there this time of year), ate at least one slice of NY pizza per day, did a LOT of walking, rode bikes through Central Park, and saw Wicked on Broadway.

We stayed at the JW Marriott which was such a great hotel! The location was unbeatable - right across the street from Central Park, and just a few blocks away from Times Square. Our rooms had the most gorgeous view of Central Park and the New York cityscape (insert heart eyes!!). There was also a little French bakery right around the corner called Petrossian Cafe. Our dad went over early every morning and brought back the yummiest croissants + fruit for us to eat - the chocolate, almond and apricot croissants were to DIE for. And there was a 24 hour pizza joint on the other side of the hotel, which we were obviously all about. We had a blast in New York!

Times Square

ST. THOMAS
From NY we flew to St. Thomas. The three of us had been on a Caribbean cruise before, but had never explored St. Thomas until now. It was amazing! We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Resort (we know, how lucky are we?!) which was so perfect. We had a three bedroom house where we all stayed together that was basically right on the beach. The resort had all kinds of water sports available to use, so we took advantage of that each day we were there. Snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, wind surfing, and sailing. We also visited some amazing beaches that are famous for their snorkeling spots. Linguist Beach and Magens Bay were UNREAL. White sand. Turquoise blue water. Just so beautiful. Then on our last day we chartered a boat that took us to some of the best beaches and snorkeling areas on St. John. I think we all agreed that this was our favorite part of the trip. We went to Cinnamon Beach, and Trunk Bay which were both just so gorgeous. Then we finished off the day at Christmas Cove. We saw TONS of sea turtles here. Christmas Cove also has a dive up pizza boat where you can order pizza, then pull your boat up and eat it right out on the water. And it was delish! Such a cool idea. Pictures below plus a little video Sidney put together from our trip.

Our last morning in St. Thomas we had brunch at Mafolie Hotel & Restaurant with this amazing view.

And to top of an amazing vacation...Paige and her husband announced to the family that they will be welcoming in a BABY BOY in January 2015!! Get ready for some maternity posts coming to the blog in the months to come! ;)

We hope this was helpful if you're ever traveling to New York or St. Thomas! Check out the short video with some highlights from our trip, as well as some of our outfit details below!
