My husband and I got back from our 10 year anniversary trip to Italy last weekend! It was the most amazing trip and I wanted to share everything we did and what we loved while it’s still fresh in my mind! We were gone for 9 days including travel, which, for Europe is not very long! But it was the max amount of time we could possibly imagine being away from Cal and Scarlett. And by the end of our trip, it felt complete and we were so ready to come home and see them.

Titling this post ‘Yummy Chicken Enchiladas’ because that is what our mom called these in the recipe book she gave each of us when we went off to college 😭 So special to have that. Well, we took these photos back in MARCH this last year, but it’s actually perfect that we never got around to posting this recipe, because what better time of year to make this yummy soup than FALL, am I right?! This white chicken chili is the all-time fall comfort food, with lots of good flavor, and a little spicy kick to it. This soup is also special to me, because it’s one of the meals my mom made for us when she came to stay with me after Cal was born.

When it comes to choosing an outfit for me, my number one priority is comfort. Plain and simple. This is especially true since becoming a mom, but I’ve kind of always been this way. I have never been interested in wearing heals that I can barely walk in (I actually don’t even think I own a pair of heels these days, other than wedges), and I always stay away from anything I’m going to have to be adjusting all throughout the day. I want to be able to throw on an outfit, then not think about it the rest of the day.

I’ll be honest, play dough is one of the (many) things that can really spark my OCD 😬 It’s a problem I’m willing to admit I have. Daniel and I used to be nursery leaders in our church, and we would bring store bought playdough every week. I was SO OCD about the one and two-year-old kids mixing the colors, I would only let them pick one color to play with at a time. Those poor kids, LOL.
